What is Child Tax Credit (CTC) ?

The CTC is a partially refundable credit that allows low- and moderate-income families to reduce their tax liability dollar-for-dollar for each qualifying child.

How Much is the Child Tax Credit ?

Depending on the size of your income, there is $3,000 for each child between the ages of 6 and 17 and a $3,600 child tax credit for each child under the age of 6.
